Carnival week got off to a brilliant start with glorious weather for the first day's events - namely Fancy dress football, childrens' treasure hunt and the two road races. The glorious weather continued for Fete day on Sunday when the lower playing field was filled with families enjoying events and soaking up the sun. A selection of photographs follows.

Sticker's Got Talent was a sell out and thoroughly enjoyed by all - unfortunately many left it too late and couldn't get a ticket! Carnival Day produced some great entries and the Party in the Park that followed in the evening enjoyed a good turn out. Rocket Dog and the support band - Velvet Spanners had a great reception and the audience partied well into the night.
Thanks go to all the people who worked in the background to produce an excellent carnival week.

Monday evening saw a selection of scarecrows that had been resident in various gardens over the weekend, making their way to the lower playing field. A modest crowd watched the judging whilst basking in lovely weather.
