For the third year running; nine ladies from Sticker have pulled a cannon weighing half a ton from the Riviera Hotel to Fistral Beach in Newquay - and then back again! Shaking their bins at the holiday crowds on the August bank holiday resulted in £600 being collected (last year was over £1000) and a cheque for this amount was presented to a representative from Cornwall Air Ambulance at Newquay recently. The photograph shows five of the ladies and Dennis Wright from Sticker who made the replica cannon.
